As a Software Engineer you will be one of the key people for all questions and use-cases around the FBI-Technology stack. Continuous improvement and extensive functions and features will be part of your work in parallel to leverage technology and data for new features and use-cases. You will work in close co-operation with the different development teams, application operations / devops teams as well as with specialists from the Trading and Sales Teams. You will work in an international environment with people of different culture backgrounds.

Your main tasks are:

• Implement and deliver IT solutions with added value to the business
• Analyze and clarify business requirements collected from our business partners and business analysts through workshops
• Comply with SG architecture principles and prevent technical dept by refactoring the software and solutions when it makes sense
• Validate user stories (features) implementation by proceeding to functional testing
• Ensure the quality of code by controlling, testing and comment the code
• Document the architecture schemes and key technical features
• Promote and contribute to teamwork in an international environment with different SG teams and external partners
• Share knowledge with other team members

The IT application scope “Flow Basket and Instruments” (FBI) contains mainly:

• the manufacturing process with e. g. a highly automated issuance process for in average 2.500 securitized derivative products per day
• the management of life cycle of these issued products
• the regulatory process linked to the issued products (mainly Mifid 2 and PRIIPS/Kids orchestration)
• the referential of instruments for trading applications (both SG issued products and underlyings) and baskets for ETF and Indices

Experience and technical skills:

• IT Background: University Degree in IT or comparable qualification
• More than 5 years experience building applications with Microsoft dot.net/c#
• Good knowledge of c# language, .net framework, SQL, Microsoft components (WPF, WCF, asp.net…)
• Good understanding of IT concepts & architecture
• Experience in Agile project setup
• Fluent English (spoken and written) necessary to work in an international environment

The different services owned are mainly dedicated to flow products (warrant, certificates, turbos…) and operate issuance process automation & market animation (market making). These services are subject to continuous & constant evolution following business evolutions through project or corrective and evolutive maintenance cycle.These services are critical applications deployed on a worldwide basis and development teams are also located in different countries (Germany, France, Romania, etc.)
