We're hiring for our Data Operations Team! You'll work on a Java-based ETL pipeline that processes millions of transactions daily across multiple custodian banks. Expect to focus on system design, performance tuning (Java/SQL), and building fault-tolerant, error-resilient systems with manual data correction support. Once two new custodians are integrated, we’ll begin phasing out the legacy system – potentially involving coordination with external teams.

Your role and responsibility

In this position you will be responsible for:

Optimize the portfolio analysis components, paying particular attention to performance and memory usage. Continuously enhance and extend the functionality of the API, ensuring it remains robust and scalable. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data import processes to support our analytical systems. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Java development and contribute to the adoption of new technologies where relevant. Participate in code reviews, mentor junior team members, and actively contribute to a culture of excellence in software engineering.

Your experience and profile

What you'll bring:

Education or professional experience as a software engineer / computer scientist. Proven experience as a Java Engineer with a focus on large-scale systems and performance optimization. Experience with bank/financial data (transactions, accounts, ...) and large scale data processing in SQL and Java Strong expertise in Java programming and related technologies. Experience with API development. A high sense of responsibility. English communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
