Site Director

to manage our state-of-art logistics centre in Bremen. Would you be interested in a role where you can make a real impact?


Our Bremen facility is a high-tech, automated warehouse spanning 230,000 square meters. We deliver comprehensive logistics solutions, including value-added services and distribution across wholesale, retail, e-commerce, and marketplaces.

Main tasks:

You are responsible for all activities on site, ensuring continuous business growth and long-term relationships with our customer Promote the development and implementation of all activities at the location Lead initiatives to effectively meet or exceed requirements, and customer expectations Manage a large team of +400 FTEs (there is already expected further growth in number) You create annual site plans, interim reports, and reports directly to management You prepare the entity's budget and manage P&L

Requirements:

You have a wide logistics background, preferably in automated logistics, distribution centres, warehouse, or stockroom You possess solid experience in managing large logistics operations You can lead change processes to increase performance, productivity, and flexibility You are great in communication, self-driven, resilient and able to thrive in a challenging environment You like to work in a diverse and international environment, and you get the best out of people You know how to ensure the balance between interests of the company, customer, and our people You speak both German and English at fluent level

Als

Operations Manager

(m/w/d)

sorgen Sie für die reibungslose Abwicklung des operativen Tagesgeschäfts an unserem neuen Standort in Bremen mit bis ca. zu 400 Mitarbeitenden. Unser Standort befindet sich aktuell im Aufbau – d. h. auch im Rahmen von organisatorischer Maßnahmen ist noch großer Gestaltungsraum vorhanden und die Möglichkeit, eigene Ideen und Visionen einzubringen. Customer Relations sind für Sie genauso wichtig wie Ihr People Management – getreu dem Motto: happy people – happy customer.

Ihre Aufgaben

Planung und Steuerung des operativen Tagesgeschäfts Kosten- und Umsatzverantwortung Mitarbeiter- und Ressourcenmanagement, inkl. Personaleinsatzplanung mit Schichtleitern auf Basis der Volumendaten Führung eines Teams von bis zu 100 Mitarbeitenden Schnittstellenkommunikation mit internen und externen Kunden, auch auf Managementebene Kontrolle und ggf. Einleitung von Gegenmaßnahmen hinsichtlich der Einhaltung von SLA-Vorgaben Kontinuierliche Kontrolle relevanter KPIs sowie bedarfsweise Lösungsvorschläge für Gegenmaßnahmen Kontinuierliche Prozessverbesserung

Ihre Qualifikation

Relevante Berufserfahrung im Bereich Logistik/Supply Chain Sehr gute Kenntnisse logistischer Prozesse und nachweisbare Berufserfahrung in der Führung größerer Teams Erfahrung mit Start-up-Organisationen ist von Vorteil Kenntnisse gängiger WMS Systeme Sehr gute MS Office Anwenderkenntnisse, v. a. Excel Fließende Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse
Flexibilität, Belastbarkeit und ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
