Tasks



As an Aviation Simulator Technician, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of flight simulators alongside your team. After the onboarding phase, you’ll be familiar with the hardware and software and take on responsibilities such as:



Learning and performing complex, standardized technical tasks, including preventive and corrective maintenance (e.g., troubleshooting, repair, validation, or replacement of electrical and subsystem components) Technical support for (future) pilots during simulator sessions Utilizing the QM system to record and track maintenance activities Conducting pre-flight & post-flight tasks on the simulators Performing QTG tests and evaluating the results Routine maintenance of computers, fault diagnosis, modification & repair of hardware Interpretation of technical drawings and schematics for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical & electronic components Regular participation in advanced professional training courses

Requirements



Excellent command of English Willingness to work in a rotating 3-shift system Place of residence near or close to Frankfurt Completed technical studies or training (engineering, mechatronics, IT, electrical engineering, aviation, etc.) Strong interest in aviation and cutting-edge simulation technologies Valid work permit / work visa for Germany Ideal: Initial experience with Linux Nice to have: Professional or academic experience in the field of simulations and/or in the aviation industry Nice to have: Knowledge of German
