JOB SUMMARY
This position will work closely with all areas of Inside Sales, Sales and Marketing to ensure on-time deliveries.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick, pack and ship instruments and material to customers, TSI affiliates , colleagues or events in EMEA according requirements of internal departments.
Obtain freight quotations, place freight orders, arrange creation of export documents, track shipping orders in close cooperation with shipping service providers.
Handle import documents, manage customs clearance of imports. Ensure check of material upon receiving, check for damages, missing accessories etc. Follow-up with TSI personnel and carriers.
Book material into SAP. Manage and organize SAP stock, do regular cycle count.
Manage due deliveries, create shipping documents from SAP.
Ensure warehouse is well organized, clean and tidy.
Completes other assignments and special projects as requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience
Required
Shipping and Receiving/Warehouse knowledge with a 3+ years’ experience. Knowledge of SAP or another ERP program.
Preferred
Apprenticeship or working experience in shipping/receiving.
Knowledge of:
Good knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook). ERP system experience. Good German and English - to understand shipping documentation/comments and internal TSI communication as well as communication with carriers and customers. Knowledge in handling shipments, shipping incl. batteries and radioactive sources, export-documents. Experience in a technical product marketing environment.
