Your mission

ORA is a wine bar and restaurant in the former Oranien pharmacy in the heart of

Kreuzberg. Nadine & Tom Michelberger and Alan Micks took over the esteemed restaurant in 2020 and followed their vision of a neighborhood restaurant and wine bar.

At Ora, head chef Alan Micks creates a regularly changing three- and four-course menu consisting of dishes that are seasonal, unpretentious, and European. Micks cultivated strong relationships with outstanding producers and suppliers around Berlin. Today, there is a bounty of produce going into the menu from small farms, foragers, and local hunters. More and more ingredients come from the

Michelberger farm in Spreewald. From 5 pm, the bar offers spontaneous visitors a distinct selection of light snacks and small dishes to share for an aperitif or to linger with a selected glass of wine from its extensive and constantly growing wine list.

Your profile

You have several years of experience working in a service-driven restaurant or bar You care for seasonal and outstanding products and show an interest in regenerative farming and close cooperation with local producers You are flexible and want to be able to contribute to different areas of our service operation You have an outgoing personality and love interacting with guests You bring a general understanding of wine and beverage and are eager to expand your knowledge You would like to excel in a young, international, and motivated team

We are currently open

Thursday to Saturday noon for lunch

Tuesday to Saturday evenings for dinner

We are offering a position on an 16hour/week contract. Availability desired during the Christmas holidays.

About us

The Michelberger Hotel & Restaurant is a metropolitan oasis of recreation, togetherness and pleasure in the heart of Berlin. Founded and directed by Nadine and Tom Michelberger. The Michelberger includes a regenerative farm in the Spreewald, the ORA restaurant, the Theke Imbiss, the MXPSM spirits manufactory, the PEOPLE Festival and the Fountain of Youth coconut water.



Since 15 years, the Michelberger is a vibrant human centered place serving and hosting people, a social space for the multitude of work and leisure travel occasions. Grown out of Berlin's cultural landscape, the Michelberger is constantly evolving with the people and stories that this hotel life writes.
