The Data Science team is developing and operating a large-scale data management and analytics platform and is working on the digital transformation of processes, data products and on customer-specific solutions in the areas of Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Reporting/Visualisation.



We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (f/m/d) to join our Data Science department at one of our locations in Munich or Hamburg as soon as possible.

As a Senior Data Scientist Data Engineering with us, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data management and analytics platform. You will be responsible for applying, developing and implementing cutting-edge Data Engineering and Data Science solutions that drive business growth and innovation. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to explore exciting and diverse data, work with cutting-edge algorithms and technologies and participate in the development of solutions that generate new insights for clients in all industries.


You lead the technical execution of large multi-country client projects on our data management and analytics platform You advise internal and external stakeholders on data processing and analytics, as well as on technical process optimization and project implementation You support the project team with the set-up and optimization of data processing pipelines, focusing on standardization and automation You work with a modern stack of data engineering and analytics tools: Python, Docker, Google Cloud Services, Tableau, and others You contribute to the further development and roll-out of our data management and analytics platform

Your profile

You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Scientist and already some background in project management You have good knowledge of Python and are familiar with ETL / ELT processes, data base systems / SQL, common data exchange protocols, interfaces, and data formats. If you are experienced with cloud services like GCP, AWS or similar and have worked in agile teams – even better! You enjoy working in a consulting role and like to share your knowledge with people from different fields Very good quantitative degree (M.Sc.), e.g. in STEM, Business Informatics, Quantitative Social Science or related fields You are a team player and love to drive topics that you own instead of being told what exactly to do. You are structured in your work style and you would consider yourself to be meticulous You are fluent in English (spoken and written) - German is a plus!
