is the first point of contact for our clients’ bond administrators and plays a central role in the operational bond issuance process. The position combines subject-matter responsibility with project support for the Head of Surety Germany and actively contributes to the development and optimization of the surety value chain, including delivering project activities to digitalize and automate all process steps throughout the entire bond life cycle.
Responsibilities
First-level support for clients on bond applications
Answer questions about the issuance process, bond wordings, and basic risk-related topics
Proactively communicate with clients about issuance status and follow-up queries
Classify bond wordings by risk level; consult with legal counsel on complex or critical wordings
Advise clients on the optimal structuring and selection of bonds
Coordinate with the Surety Risk Underwriter responsible on more complex cases
Ensure correct invoicing and brokerage commission accounting
Maintain data quality in line with internal guidelines to ensure accurate information for billing, risk capture, and reinsurance management
Manage collections and issue first reminders for overdue invoices; escalate to the Surety Risk Underwriter for further action
Actively contribute to digitalization and automatization projects
Provide administrative and assistant support to the Head of Surety Germany

Qualifications
Degree in business law, business administration, or a comparable qualification—or a commercial qualification
relevant professional experience in bonds, insurance, or financial services including brokers
