In your new role, you will:

Provide technical guidance

and

mentorship to the team

, communicate effectively to

resolve technical issues independently

,

plan the work

and deliverables according to the

project timelines

and

milestones

, and

represent the design team in project meetings

Architectural/Platform decision making

in close collaboration with

SoC

and

HW architects

,

FW verification Engineers

to achieve an optimal

HW-SW co-design

Understand requirements

,

support the definition

and review of the

Firmware architecture documents

, set up the

FW Design environment

, develop and

verify firmware code, and ensure process compliance

Actively co-operate with Concept Engineers, verification engineers

,

hardware developers

, as well as other stakeholders, to

ensure product delivery

Proactively drive methodology improvements in Firmware design

in alignment with Infineon's process




As a Senior Staff Engineer Automotive Software Firmware, you clarify areas of responsibility, coordinate your work with colleagues, and regularly share your insights with them. Furthermore, you see and understand the root causes of potential delays or quality defects and develop suitable solutions for them. Lastly, you inspire others with your ideas and explain even complex issues clearly and convincingly.




You are best equipped for this task if you have:

Degree in Electronics engineering

or similar field of studies with specific knowledge in

semiconductor development

5+ years of working experience in HW-SW Co-Design

Solid knowledge

about state-of-the-art

embedded architecture/design methods

Proficient in

Embedded C

and

Python

Working knowledge of at least one major

HDL (VHDL, Verilog,

etc.) and

HVL

(

Specman

e,

SystemVerilog

, etc.)

Hands-on experience

with

simulation tools

Knowledge in

automotive standards

and

processes,

such as

ISO26262, ISO21434,

and

ASPICE,

is beneficial
