About this role





As a Senior Accounting Specialist (f/m/d), you will be responsible for the accurate accounting and reporting for single and group closing in line with IFRS standards. You’ll help shape accounting processes, ensure compliance, and serve as a key point of contact for complex business topics across departments.




Your responsibilities




Coordination and oversight of month-end closing and group consolidation processes Provision of methodological guidance for consolidation procedures Preparation of financial reports, including single-entity and consolidated group financial statements Handling internal and external reporting requirements for all European legal entities Collaboration with external partners and shared service centres in the preparation of local statutory financial statements Support for internal and external audits, including liaison with Headquarters in China Key accounting contact and partner for cross-functional departments Evaluation and application of accounting policies and standards



Operational Tasks




Serve as a key accounting contact for group consolidation and financial reporting matters Define and implement internal accounting controls to ensure high-quality financial closings Collaborate closely with the entire accounting team and Headquarter in China Actively participate in ongoing projects, including the group consolidation initiative



What you bring along




Education




Degree in Business Administration or a comparable field CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or a similar qualification is an advantage

Professional Experience




Several years of experience in audit-related consulting, external auditing, or group accounting Experience in a capital market-oriented or automotive company is highly desirable

Knowledge / Functional Expertise




Strong understanding of international accounting standards, particularly IFRS 10, IFRS 2, IFRS 15, IFRS 16 Proficient in SAP and MS Office (especially Excel)
