How you can contribute:
Lead sales for HydroMet software solutions across the DACH region, with a focus on strategic growth and customer success
Develop and implement go-to-market activities for existing and new software solutions in both established and emerging segments
Manage key customer relationships through Key Account Management and regular on-site business development visits
Drive proactive new customer acquisition with a clear focus on outcomes („Hunter mentality“)
Oversee and manage tender processes in the environmental sector
Deliver structured, transparent CRM data and participate in monthly sales review meetings
Represent KISTERS at trade fairs, conferences, and webinars, and actively build a strong network in the environmental monitoring community
Provide valuable customer feedback (VOC) to marketing and product development teams

Your Profile:
A Master’s degree in Hydrology, Meteorology, or Civil/Environmental Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, consulting, or account management in the HydroMet or environmental monitoring market
Experience in environmental data management and analysis software solutions. Technical background in the HydroMet instrumentation (Hardware) is a plus.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing long sales cycles independently
Experience handling public or private environmental tender business
A relevant professional network in the HydroMet or environmental technology sector
Native-level fluency in German and excellent command of English (spoken and written). French is a Plus.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong analytical mindset to balance effort and expected return; prioritization and time management are essential
Proficient in MS Office and experienced with CRM/ERP systems
Willingness to travel up to 60%
