- Take full end-to-end responsibility for developing, maintaining, and delivering product narratives across all customer-facing and internal channels.
- Own the creation of clear, compelling messaging that communicates the value of our data and
insights products to ag-industry customers — from initial concept through final delivery.
- Lead the full lifecycle of positioning work: gathering inputs from R&D, validating with product
teams, drafting messaging frameworks, and ensuring consistent deployment across sales,
marketing, and customer materials.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all product messaging requests, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with product strategy.
- Develop and maintain and update product positioning documents and messaging frameworks.
- Translate complex analytical outputs into accessible, benefit-led narratives for commercial teams and external audiences.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
- Lead planning and execution of product launches and feature releases.
- Deliver launch materials including briefs, talking points, customer FAQs, product overviews, and sales enablement content.
- Coordinate cross-functional launch activities across research, product, marketing, and business teams.
Customer & Market Understanding
- Synthesize market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to shape product
narratives and priorities.
- Identify customer segments, use cases, and personas; document their needs and the value our products deliver.
- Translate market insights into recommendations for product teams and leadership.
Product Communications & Content Development
- Build product explainers, demo scripts, pitch decks, web copy, and value-focused materials.
- Work closely with the Visual Content Designer to develop visual assets that enhance
communication.
- Ensure consistency and clarity across all product-related communications.
Sales & Customer Enablement
- Create enablement resources to help commercial teams articulate the product value proposition.
- Train internal teams on new products, features, and market opportunities.
- Develop resources such as competitive summaries, product handbooks, product primers and
product-handling guides.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as the connective tissue between the product, research, marketing, and business development teams.
- Ensure alignment on product strategy, positioning, and customer value.
- Gather ongoing feedback from commercial teams to guide updates to materials and messaging.
Performance & Optimization
- Track adoption, market response, and product communication effectiveness.
- Recommend improvements to product messaging and go-to-market strategy based on results.
- Support pricing, packaging, and product-tiering discussions with product intelligence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–6+ years in a role involving product communication, market insights, GTM planning, or product oriented messaging.
- Strong ability to translate technical content, research findings, or data-heavy insights into clear
customer value.
- Excellent written communication, storytelling, and content strategy skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, data and commercial teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience supporting a product lifecycle communication or participating in product launches.
- Familiarity with the agriculture industry or data-driven products is a strong plus.
- Background in market research, agriculture, analytics, or SaaS products.
- Strong presentation skills and comfort interacting with leadership and external stakeholders.
- Ability to create basic visual materials (slides, charts, diagrams) when needed.
