Job Description



In your new role you will:


Act as a

technical expert for embedded software for Automotive applications

to develop demonstrators, PoCs, tools and user guidelines for our global customers

Participate in application focused performance studies

with regards to execution time, power consumption, real-time behavior and other relevant aspects for embedded applications Further

develop Infineon open source tool ecosystem

to emulate and deploy edge AI and embedded applications on our Microcontroller products

Guide customers in optimizing their algorithms to address constraints on memory and processing pow

er

in embedded devices

Support application-driven system engineering to design compute components

for next generation microcontroller

Collaborate closely with various departments

, global sites, and universities in your field





Your Profile



You are best equipped for this task if you have:


A degree in

Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

A minimum of

5 years of relevant working experience in embedded software engineering on microcontrollers

and

edge AI
Excellent knowledge in tools and

programming languages like Embedded C/C++

Relevant knowledge of

hardware architectures like RISC-V, ARC, ARM or TriCore

Knowledge of

hardware accelerator architectures (e.g. GPU, Vector-DSP)

and parallel processing principles like SIMD and MIMD will be an advantage Ability to

communicate and present technical context

to internal and external stakeholders Strong

team player
