Your responsibilities

\n

  • \n
  • Support and coordination of energy policy processes for Uniper\n
  • Preparation and drafting of strategic assessments, position papers, decision papers, presentations, memos and energy policy analyses\n
  • Identification of topic-specific political decision-makers and contacts as well as contact management and networking with regard to international, European, federal and state politics, corresponding administrations and other organisations\n
  • Representation and safeguarding of Uniper\'s political interests vis-\xc3\xa0-vis politicians, administrations, associations and other organisations\n
  • Preparing and advising the Uniper board of management and its representatives in the markets relevant to Uniper in political discussions/events\n
  • Organisation and support of political event\n

Your profile

\n
\n

\n
  • \n
  • Completed university or technical college studies in economics or political science or law or a comparable degree\n
  • Knowledge of the political, economic and legal framework of the energy industry as a whole\n
  • Sound knowledge of European and federal policy decision-making levels. Knowledge of state politics desirable\n
  • Ideally an up-to-date and resilient political and/or energy industry network, both nationally and internationally\n
  • Strong sense of political context and sensitivities\n
  • Analytical skills to grasp complex political and energy industry contexts and to derive strategic responses from them\n
  • Ability to produce energy policy and economic analyses flexibly and at short notice\n
  • High linguistic competence and the ability to present complex issues in a simple and understandable way\n
  • Confident appearance and a high degree of teamwork and integration skills as well as flexibility and motivation to work independently\n
  • Very good written and spoken German and English, knowledge of another foreign language desirable\n
