(Senior) Manager Hydrogen - Asset Development, Operations & Logistics (f/m/d)

For the Business Line Hydrogen as one of the most important pillars of our strategy we are looking for a Manager or Senior Manager with focus on Asset Development for our hydrogen asset based projects in particular H2 production & (re-)conversion technologies. Your task
  • Manage and lead Uniper\'s interdisciplinary technical hydrogen asset based projects, including but not limited to power-to-gas (green H2), steam reforming with CCS (blue H2), and ammonia/methanol in Europe
  • Support of asset based business devolvement process with a strong technical input and asset based project execution in alignment with other departments
  • Manage technology tracking/screening of hydrogen technologies and technical partnering in close cooperation with our Engineering department
  • Support the development of H2 capabilities within Uniper
  • Advise and support other Uniper units with regard to hydrogen
  • Support the development of hydrogen based E-Fuels and Liquids in close cooperation with our Innovation department
  • Lobby and work at international associations in close cooperation with Corporate Communications & Governmental Relations as well as the Hydrogen Business Development
  • Support Execution of Uniper\'s international Hydrogen strategy (green and blue hydrogen) with ambition to build, own and operate large scale hydrogen facilities in Uniper\'s core markets
Your profile
  • University degree in relevant studies, e.g. engineering, physics, chemistry
  • Significant professional experience (
7 years) in the energy industry with a strong focus on project management and/or technical lead * Several years of in-depth expertise in actively developing new business areas and executing projects, preferably in industrial gases or commodity chemical business
  • Experience in leading international, complex projects (track record) and interdisciplinary project teams
  • Strong Technical competence
  • Professional command of English (another language of a Uniper core country beneficial)
  • Entrepreneurship and strong customer orientation
  • Demonstrate a strategic understanding of energy market trends, relevant customer strategy and requirements
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking combined with the ability to prioritize from a holistic view
  • Ability to work independently and under high pressure
  • Personal credibility and ability to build working relationships across the Uniper Group
  • Creative and open-minded individual with fresh mindset and good communication skills
  • Profound stakeholder management skills
