TASKS WITH IMPACT

Develop the next evolutionary stage of our supply chain strategy in alignment with the overarching Douglas corporate strategy (“Let it Bloom”) – including the design and management of a measurable, actionable implementation program Define and establish fundamental principles to guide the future structure and ways of working of our supply chain organization Identify optimization potential to increase service levels, improve efficiency, and reduce inventory across the entire supply chain Design an integrated supplier management approach to sustainably strengthen our inbound supply chain in close collaboration with Procurement and Planning Contribute to the design of our future supply chain organization – with a particular focus on the structure of local central warehouses, in close coordination with the SVP Supply Chain and HR Monitor relevant market and technology trends in supply chain management and derive actionable insights for Douglas Take on selected interface functions with suppliers to foster both operational and strategic collaboration Work closely with central group functions as well as our international OWAC organizations and clusters

YOUR SKILLS

Successfully completed master’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field Several years of professional experience in strategy consulting (ideally at a top-tier level as Senior Associate or Project Manager) with a focus on the retail/FMCG industry and supply chain management Alternatively or additionally: solid practical experience in the retail or consumer goods industry with a focus on retail operations or SCM strategy Strong conceptual capabilities combined with a highly execution-oriented mindset and analytical thinking Excellent communication skills and experience working with international stakeholders at the management level Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German is a plus
