Core Trading Technology team in Berlin focuses on development of low latency electronic trading platform and services for FX, Rates&Credit, Listed Derivates businesses. We work on super fast market data feeds, connectivity to exchanges and other electronic venues, algo pricing and trading, order management systems and frameworks; we capture petabytes of data and power analytics for traders and quants.

As a senior technologist in the group you will be responsible for design and implementation of critical Java-based components of the strategic landscape. You will use top-notch hardware and network solutions as well as efficient software techniques.

Your key responsibilities

Together with senior technologists in the team perform requirements analysis and propose technical design

Be responsible for front-to-back implementation of critical services, automation of business processes including integration into upstream and downstream systems

Design and develop components of trading/pricing/risk-management algos, design and develop surrounding ecosystem services

Review other team member\xe2\x80\x99s code and mentor junior developers

Collaborate with QA team on test automation and with Dev Ops on continues SDLC and environment management improvements

Your skills and experiences

Strong math and strong knowledge of algorithms and complexity. Strong problem solving skills

Great knowledge of Core Java, standard library, industry standard frameworks is a plus

Experience with modern Web UI technologies is a plus, knowledge of standard market protocols or specifics of particular trading venues is a great plus

Good user-level knowledge of Linux

Good knowledge of modern SDLC toolstack \xe2\x80\x93 Bitbucket, Jira, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity, etc

Fluent written and spoken English
