Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate

hands-on experience with Extreme Networks Products & Fabrics

for

site redesign and modernization (hardware refresh)

initiatives.

Design, implement, and maintain

scalable, secure, and resilient network architectures using

Extreme Switching, Extreme Routing, and Extreme Wireless

solutions (including

NAC A3

for network access control).

Develop and deploy

comprehensive network solutions leveraging technologies such as

Fabric Connect

for simplified network management and

VXLAN

for efficient virtualization. Lead the

installation and configuration

of cutting-edge Extreme Networks hardware, including

7X, 5X, and 2X series switches

, implementing features such as

stacking, VLANs, and dynamic routing protocols

.

Implement and optimize

Extreme Wireless solutions — including

access points, controllers, and cloud-driven management

— ensuring seamless connectivity across all environments. Utilize

Extreme Analytics

to monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance, identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks proactively. Enable

Application Analytics and Control

to enhance visibility and ensure optimal performance for

Plant, Manufacturing, Office, and Project Office

applications.

Enforce network security measures

through Extreme Networks technologies such as

Extreme Control (NAC)

and role-based access policies. Apply

Extreme Security features

, including

threat intelligence integration

and

behavioral analysis

, to protect against emerging cybersecurity threats. Provide

advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution

using tools like

Extreme Management

and collaborate with

Extreme Networks technical support

for escalated incidents. Maintain

accurate and up-to-date documentation

of all network configurations, changes, and operational procedures using

Extreme Control Center

. Generate

comprehensive reports

on network performance, capacity, and security metrics utilizing

Extreme Analytics

and related reporting tools.

Collaborate cross-functionally

with

Network Operations, Cloud & On-Prem Infrastructure, and Network Security

teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of Extreme Networks solutions. Provide

mentorship and technical guidance

to junior network engineers, fostering skill development and best practices adoption.
