To support our ongoing growth, we are looking for a (Senior) DevOps Engineer to strengthen out team.
Tasks
Take a leading role in all relevant DevOps topics and collaborate with teams of experienced developers and DevOps engineers on designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure infrastructure, focusing on Kubernetes and Terraform within an Azure cloud environment.
Play a key role in the communication between application-development and infrastructure teams at Tangany, ensuring high delivery standards and that both stakeholders' requirements are met.
Implement and maintain Microsoft Azure CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring, ensuring the highest quality standards while continuously delivering customer value.
Craft, pitch, and teach solutions to application teams to address infrastructure and deployment challenges.
Address InfoSec requirements while managing access controls, system connectivity, and overall governance within the development team's responsibilities.
Implement proactive monitoring and alerting based on Tangany´s established infrastructure and SIEM best practices and tooling, minimizing downtime, improving security, and delivering meaningful operational insights.
Set up, maintain, and administer third-party tools to ensure high availability for applications that depend on them, while managing risk compliance processes in a regulated environment.
Engage proactively in internal and external audits, as well as penetration testing efforts, to ensure the security and compliance of application infrastructure.
Review and provide feedback on code submitted by team members, ensuring quality standards and alignment with best practices.
Embrace and promote an API-first product mindset.
Requirements
7+ years of experience with Azure and Kubernetes.
Extensive background in scripting and automation using Terraform.
Expert knowledge of Helm Charts for Kubernetes application deployments.
Deep knowledge of Istio Service Mesh for advanced traffic management and security in Kubernetes environments.
Practical experience in building microservice architectures for REST and GraphQL APIs.
In-depth knowledge of web architectures, as well as API design and OAuth2-based authentication methods.
Advanced proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Strong hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Application Insights, and Microsoft Sentinel.
Knowledge of full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript development is considered an advantage.
Interest in blockchain technology is essential; technical blockchain know-how is an advantage.
Fluency in English; German is a plus.
Residence within commuting distance (up to one hour) from Munich is a strong advantage.
