Your responsibilities:


Lead and execute company-wide data governance initiatives to ensure data quality, compliance, and security across the organization


Act as a trusted advisor and liaison between business units, technical teams, and senior leadership, leveraging strong stakeholder management and communication skills


Design and implement governance frameworks based on Collibra (business glossaries, reference data, data dictionaries)


Configure and maintain Collibra’s operating model, including metadata, workflows, and data quality frameworks


Develop documentation for data lineage and perform impact analyses using Collibra


Automate data quality rules and monitoring processes within Collibra


Integrate Collibra with data virtualization solutions (e.g., Starburst, Trino) and modern cloud platforms, with a focus on AWS


Promote the adoption of governance tools and processes across the business and report governance KPIs to senior management


Architect governance solutions for data quality and data lineage on the Cloud Analytics Platform


Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:


10–12+ years of experience in data governance and ideally a strong consulting background


Proven, hands-on expertise in Collibra, including metadata models, workflows, integrations, and APIs


Solid experience designing and implementing governance solutions on AWS


Practical experience with data virtualization technologies (e.g., Starburst, Trino) and a deep understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)


Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Spark, and modern data architectures (Data Mesh, Data Fabric)


Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams and projects in an agile environment


Excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills


Fluent in English, written and spoken
