Mission Brief

Your main objective will be to work hands-on with our Data Platform, which consolidates all structured and unstructured test, flight, and process data from across the company. Your work will empower data-driven decisions in various departments and enable us to generate valuable insights from cross-departmental data.



Your Role in Our Space Mission:


Build modern, scalable, and high-performance solutions for our data platform. Develop and deploy efficient ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load a large amount of data from diverse sources. Contribute to data modeling and architecture decisions to ensure consistency, accessibility, low latency, and long-term maintainability of the data landscape. Ensure data quality through validation processes and adherence to data governance policies. Provide observability for the Data Platform processes, enabling a quick reaction to any disruptions. Author technical and user documentation. Guide less experienced engineers by sharing your knowledge and expertise.

Qualification Checklist

Experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, Python and DataFrame handling Hands-on practice with Microsoft Fabric (or similar platforms like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake) Highly proficient with batch and streaming data processing Solid understanding of data architectures (lakehouse, warehouse, data streaming, medallion pattern) Experience with DeltaLake and Iceberg storage frameworks Excellent SQL proficiency for data querying, transformation, and analysis Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)

Bonus Skills


Experience with Python query engines (e.g. polars, duckdb) Experience with Kafka and Kafka related technologies (e.g. Apache Flink) Hands-on experience with PowerBI Understanding of infrastructure, Azure cloud services and network
