What we expect
We are seeking a
Data/ AI Engineer (d/f/m)
to join our global Data & Insights team. This role is critical to advancing our
value creation across our global company based on data and AI.
The ideal candidate combines strong engineering skills with curiosity for understanding business requirements and passion for leveraging the latest advances in
Microsoft Azure and Databricks
technology. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of business and data engineering, and cutting-edge AI.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and build data and AI solutions adding business value (Service Efficiency, Sales) – linking strongly to IOT data and other proprietary data sources
Collaborate with Architecure Team and the Global Team responsible for scaling and providing data and artefacts based on our Common Data Platform
Develop reporting and visualization solutions using
Power BI (or similar tools)
to support adoption and transparency and ensure value capture
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into automated, value-creating solutions
Work with Data Architects to ensure automation aligns with standards, governance, and platform strategy
Apply strong
data modelling / AI skills
to ensure to create data based solutions – fast time to market
Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies and best practices in
data, automation, and AI
to drive platform evolution
Explore and leverage the latest capabilities of
Azure AI Foundry and Databricks Agent Bricks
to enable intelligent, agentic orchestration
Who we are looking for
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in data engineering, automation, or applied analytics
Hands-on expertise in
Azure Databricks, Data Factory, SQL, Python, and Power BI
Strong understanding of
data pipeline automation, CI/CD for data, and orchestration frameworks
Proven capability in
data and AI modelling
and building reusable, scalable data structures
Strong track record in building data based products (best in the B2B industry) and creating scaled business value
Interest in linking
business requirements
to technical solutions and measuring tangible outcomes
Familiarity with Azure Foundry and emerging tools such as Databricks Agent Bricks is a plus
Curiosity for
agentic AI capabilities
and how they can enhance automation in enterprise environments
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills in global, cross-functional teams. Very strong team player – being ready to work in a global high performing team
Fluent in English; German, Spanish or Portugese would be a plus
