As the Senior Corporate IT Engineer, Germany, you will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling IT operational support for our growing Germany office. You’ll work onsite from our office in Germany, based in the Greater Frankfurt area, with occasional travel to other EU sites or US office locations.
Job DutiesSupport day-to-day IT operations at the Frankfurt, Germany office through Jira, Slack, Email, Phone, or in-person interactions.
First-level resolution of technical problems with LAN, WAN, WiFi, physical security devices, and other systems.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot all technical equipment, including computers (Windows and macOS), printers, switches, phones, conference rooms, TVs, and back-office systems.
Responsible for Germany's IT asset management.
Support onsite and remote offices with internal desktop and web applications.
Innovate and design new internal solutions that allow us to scale.
Create and manage Active Directory / Okta / Google Workspace user accounts and groups.
Deploy and install desktop applications and drive timely resolution of incidents and requests.
Manage and maintain AV equipment in conference rooms and all-hands spaces.
Provide after-hours, on-call support for end users on a rotational basis (required).
Complete onboarding and offboarding checklists and documentation.
Travel occasionally to support operations at trade shows and remote offices.
Document changes, modifications, and troubleshooting in the ticketing system; ensure timely resolution of all incidents and requests.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related technical field, or IT certifications with equivalent practical experience, and 5 years of experience in the offered position or a closely related role.
IT professional certifications are a plus (e.g., MCSE, ITIL, MCSA, Cisco, AWS, Network+).
4 years of experience supporting Windows, macOS, networking, mobile, video conferencing, and/or voice technologies.
3+ years of technical support experience in a large environment with a mix of onsite and remote users (preferred).
2+ years with Active Directory and Google Workspace (big plus).
2+ years managing network shares and network printers; 2+ years printer support (Zebra knowledge a plus).
Experience with Windows, Networking, Scripting, and Automation, and/or application troubleshooting.
Systematic problem-solving approach with ownership and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity.
Excellent customer service, organization, prioritization, multitasking, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience with Okta SSO and/or user provisioning, as well as Jira ITSM, is a plus.
Knowledge of MDM (e.g., Endpoint Central, Kadji) is a plus; awareness of ITIL and IT Change Management best practices is also a plus; and knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, and switching is a plus.
