Senior Controller (m/f/d)

as soon as possible.

Your role in the Wolfpack:

Act as a strategic business partner to the retail management team, providing in-depth financial insights and recommendations to drive growth and profitability. Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning for the entire retail channel, including omnichannel operations. Develop, implement, and continuously enhance financial models and KPI frameworks to monitor and improve retail performance. Conduct deep-dive analyses on complex business cases such as market expansion, new retail concepts, pricing strategies, and omnichannel synergies. Oversee inventory management from a financial perspective, including provisioning, impairment testing, and optimization of markdown strategies to maximize profitability. Lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at process automation, digitalization, and efficiency improvements in retail finance. Perform investment evaluations and post-investment reviews for retail capital expenditures (e.g., new store openings, refurbishments, IT systems). Present retail financial performance and key business insights to senior leadership in a clear and impactful manner.

What you bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance , Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 5–7+ years of progressive experience in controlling, including substantial experience as a financial business partner within the retail industry. Deep strategic understanding of retail and omnichannel business models. Proven expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and complex data interpretation. Strong ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders through data-driven insights. Expert proficiency in SAP FI/CO and advanced BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Demonstrated experience in project management and process optimization. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Business fluent in English and German
