What you will do


You will be working in inhouse consultancy projects in Lufthansa Group and subsidiaries, as well as international non-Lufthansa Group projects. As a (Senior) Consultant you are responsible for managing projects and project teams or several teams of consultants and client personnel. Key responsibilities include: participate in or lead projects in distribution & channel management areas participate in or lead projects as project management expert or project manager outside your own field of expertise support proposal preparation in coordination with the respective Solution Group Leader and participate in sales pitches actively develop and improve tailored consultancy solutions to serve customer and market needs

Requirements

A broad experience from an Airline and a detailed understanding of key players in Distribution and Channel Management and their relationships to each other (e.g.,GDS, NDC providers, aggregators, travel intermediaries) form a solid basis, which is completed by your experiences in Consulting.

degree in economics/industrial engineering or relevant field completed at a (technical) university several years experience in consulting and aviation industry minimum 3 years of experience in distribution/channel management of airlines good understanding of business process in distribution in an airline and its interfaces with other business units such as pricing, revenue management, corporate sales, partners, etc understanding of commercial airline & distribution systems and distribution channel management processes experience in (agile) project management, clear advantage if related to NDC implementation projects experience with leadership tasks and in managing international project teams ability to develop innovative, success-orientated and client specific solutions business fluency in English Company
