We are looking for an experienced (Senior) Compliance Officer (m/w/d) to join our compliance team. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance in all aspects of our operations. As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a new dedicated team member to ensure our adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies and to support our efforts to enhance our existing system.

Your Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and advise on compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Conduct risk assessments to identify compliance risks and potential mitigations. Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to assess the impact of new regulations and industry developments on our operations. Investigate compliance issues, incidents, and complaints and recommend corrective actions as necessary. Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Closely interact with ICS, legal, and sustainability functions. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory authorities as needed.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably in the e-commerce, retail, or logistics sector. Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly but not limited to the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, CSRD, anti-money laundering, and anti-corruption laws. Proven track record of developing and implementing compliance programs - experience with external audit procedures and knowledge of the IDW PS 980 is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision paired with high affinity for tech solutions to streamline processes. Strong ethical and moral compass with a commitment to upholding integrity and transparency. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, both in English as well as in German. Proficiency in other languages would be highly welcome.
