Senior Commercial Director, Germany




This position reports to the Area Managing Director for the Central Europe Cluster and is based in Neuss (Germany).

What you will do




The Senior Commercial Director Germany is responsible for overseeing all commercial activities and strategic initiatives in Germany. This role involves developing and implementing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the German market.


The successful candidate will be a passioned and results driven sales leader with strong experience in the German FMCG landscape, who is people focused, courageous and fully embracing an end to end and entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the German market in alignment with the overall company objectives Manage and lead the E2E German Sales department, brand and shopper activation & ecommerce, across Mass retail and Pharmacy Channels. Deliver on financial acceleration forecast & targets, GP and cash flow via superior execution of best in class customer partnerships and Go to Market strategy and agenda. Establish superior external relationships with key customers and influencers in the German market Lead and deliver monthly/annual business performance reviews to the regional management Partner closely with cross-functional teams including finance, supply chain, human resources and others to drive business success in Germany Represent the company at key trade associations Unleash the potential of the Sales Department by leading and shaping the talent agenda. Set and define standards for excellence and best practices, build and nurture teams and lead by role-modelling the Kenvue standards of excellence. Contribute to the wider CE Cluster sales success as a key member of the CE leadership team, undertaking wider leadership projects, deputizing for the Area Managing Director when required. This critical position will be part of the board of directors for the Germany GmbH and registration in the commercial register

Requirements



An outstanding track record of success in sales with a minimum of 15 years experience Proven experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role, preferably in the German market Holistic understanding of the business including German market dynamics, consumer behavior, management of significant complexity and understanding of full P&L impacts Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving sales targets and developing a high-performing culture and talent pipeline e-comm channel expertise and digital savvy Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful commercial strategies
