As a Senior Advertiser Manager in our International Sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key advertiser accounts within DECH (Germany, Switzerland, Eastern Europe). You’ll act as a strategic partner to your clients, developing tailored media solutions that address their business challenges and deliver measurable results-by leveraging your expertise in international media to activate campaigns beyond their home market. This role involves developing and nurturing strong relationships with C-level decision-makers and Media Directors, while gaining a deep understanding of their short- and long-term business objectives. The position is ideal for a commercially minded client lead who thrives on building relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering impact through strategic solutions that span multiple industries, media types, and client needs.
Advertiser Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic advertisers
Build trust and long-term partnerships by understanding client objectives and delivering relevant media solutions
Position RTL AdAlliance as a consultative, value-driven partner
Strategic Account Growth
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across RTL AdAlliance’s multi-market media offering
Lead the development and execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key clients
Monitor campaign performance and proactively recommend optimisations
New Business Growth
Proactively spot and seize new business opportunities across our regions
Stay up to date on relevant industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics
Represent the company at key industry events, trade fairs, and client meetings—building meaningful connections and opening doors to new partnerships
Lead high-impact sales initiatives aimed at German advertisers with international ambitions, positioning RTL AdAlliance as their strategic growth partner
Solution Design & Delivery
Translate client briefs into compelling, insight-driven media proposals
Work closely with Planning, Ad Ops, and Marketing to ensure seamless campaign execution
Support innovation pilots and branded content initiatives where relevant
Your profile
7+ years of experience in media sales, client management, or strategic planning
Experience in TV and digital advertising sales
Strong understanding of advertiser needs and marketing communication objectives
Proven ability to grow accounts and deliver consultative solutions
Well-connected with senior executives in the advertising industry
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
Fluent in German, English; additional European languages a plus

You will work closely with the Head of Advertiser, Strategic Media Consulting, Agency Partnership Lead to develop and execute impactful sales strategies tailored to German brands advertising internationally.
