Your tasks


Lead development projects for the implementation of new technologies for tire molds in close collaboration with Tire R&D and internal mold suppliers. This includes conducting feasibility studies, creating project timelines, and managing cross-functional teams Define specifications for machines and services required for the industrialization of new mold technologies. Ensure these specifications meet quality standards, production requirements, and cost-effectiveness criteria Develop and document new processes for the operation and maintenance of molds and mold components in tire plants, in coordination with local mold engineers and central mold-related functions. This involves creating detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and troubleshooting guides Specify technical requirements for new equipment used in mold operations at the plants. Collaborate with equipment manufacturers to ensure optimal performance and integration with existing systems Support procurement processes for new machines and services, and assist with their implementation in the plants. This includes evaluating vendor proposals, conducting technical reviews, and providing recommendations to the procurement team Optimize existing mold designs to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Utilize advanced CAD/CAM software and simulation tools to analyze and refine mold designs Conduct regular technical audits of mold-related processes across multiple plants to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions Provide technical expertise and training to plant personnel on mold-related topics, including new technologies, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques




Your profile


Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, natural sciences, industrial engineering, or a comparable field Several years of professional experience in tire line development, technology and machine development, mold production, or similar areas Proven experience as a project manager, ideally in a technical or industrial environment Strong analytical thinking skills and a structured, independent working style Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; SAP knowledge is an advantage Excellent written and spoken English skills Strong team orientation, communication skills, and intercultural competence
