We are currently looking for a Senior Business Development Manager (m/f/x) to join our Public Team on a full-time basis (40 hours per week).


For over 25 years, we have been supporting the digitalization of the public sector in Germany and developing modern, digital solutions with exceptional user experiences. Our team of around 130 experts works for various federal and state ministries, the DRV (German Pension Insurance) and the BWI (German Armed Forces), among others. Always with people at the center. Your tasks


You independently develop strategic approaches to expand our business in the public sector You actively identify and address the needs of our customers and new customers in the public sector You accompany the entire tendering process and deal with the relevant framework agreements You act as a contact person for our interdisciplinary teams as well as for our current and future partners You are a visible expert in the market environment and proactively position IBM iX topics by appearing at trade fairs and/or events You develop individual strategies for expanding our network and help to strengthen existing partnerships You actively follow new trends in the public sector and keep yourself up to date
Your skills


Through your work, you have already been able to build up a network consisting of contacts in the public sector You have acquired essential knowledge of the public sector procurement process and are very familiar with the processes and the players involved You enjoy association work and presales activities in the public sector You have a high affinity and passion for creation and/or technologies as well as for digital trends You are fluent in German (C2 level) and have a good command of English (at least B2) for working in intercultural teams and in the international IBM Interactive Experience (IBM iX) network Your solution-oriented approach to work and your ambition to tackle challenges ideally round off your profile
