Become a part of our developer team in Munich!

We are currently looking for a talented and experienced backend developer with a strong background in web and backend technologies, including REST, GraphQL, Docker, SQL and HTML5. We place particular emphasis on extensive developer experience in Python. 100% remote work is possible.

However it is essential for us that applicants live within Germany!

Key responsibilities

Work as a part of our backend team and be responsible for diverse and challenging backend development efforts Design and implement robust and scalable services Ensure high uptime and meet scalability needs Write and maintain tests to improve software quality Automate recurring tasks, help us simplify operations Design and communicate new API features Technical team lead is possible after some initial training

Skills & Requirements

7+ years experience designing and writing backend applications Experienced in at least 2 programming languages Extensive development experience in Python. Bonus if you have worked on Java or C/C++ projects before. Extensive knowledge with web and backend technologies, esp. asynchronous programming and caching. Extensive knowledge on relational databases, preferably MySQL. Bonus for knowledge in NoSQL technologies. Experience with Docker. Knowledge of container-orchestration systems is a plus. You are smart and adaptive, able to learn new technologies and get things done Comfortable in an English-speaking work environment
