THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Senior Art Director at Lounge e-commerce studio, you will lead creative projects from concept to execution, enhancing the visual narrative of Lounge by Zalando. This role blends hands-on creative execution with creative oversight.


You will work closely with the Creative Direction Team Lead and guide the other Art Directors to bring bold and innovative ideas to life through photo, AI, CGI and video content, ensuring consistency with Lounge’s brand values and objectives. This role requires a highly skilled and motivated individual with a proven track record in the fashion or advertising industry.

Drive visual quality across all daily e-commerce content to ensure the final output consistently raises the bar and maximizes brand impact and conversion. Supervise a team of Art Directors to refine and implement image, AI, CGI and video guidelines for our brand. Work closely with the Brand & Creative, Marketing and Retail teams to ensure our visuals align with business objectives and drive performance. You stay ahead of trends, ensuring Lounge’s creative output remains innovative and culturally relevant. Confidently manage multiple large-scale projects at a time, overseeing them from start to finish. You work collaboratively with core team members to ensure your concept is realized at the highest level. Demonstrate strong expertise in executing campaigns within the fashion industry that are within budget and push boundaries of creativity while adhering to key KPIs.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in art direction/creative direction from an advertising agency, fashion brand, fashion magazine or a relevant creative field and a strong portfolio. You leverage GenAI tools in your creative processes, alongside traditional industry programs (Gemini,Firefly, MidJourney, Comfy UI, Adobe Creative Suite, CaptureOne, Digital Photography). You have a strong understanding of e-commerce trends and an exceptional eye for identifying what resonates within the fashion industry. You can translate business objectives and brand requirements into compelling creative strategies. You are a sharp, clear communicator with a strong ability to present creative ideas. You are a proactive, reliable and collaborative team player who remains professional and solution-oriented under pressure. You are highly organized, able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for quality and execution.
