DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE
Carry out day-to-day operations in all areas of accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals, fixed assets, payments, bank reconciliation, expense reports, company credit cards, etc.)
Participates in the monthly and annual financial closing process.
Participation in annual financial audit
Participation in tax checks and audits
Coordination of the operations with the rest of the team members.
Complying with company policies and internal controls.
Collaborate with controlling and IT teams to establish more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of the company’s financial data.
Ensuring that financial management policies and procedures adhere to regulatory standards
Cooperation with internal and external partners (insurance companies, customers, tax advisors, auditors)
Good communicator and key contact person for all matters in the accounting area
Preparing monthly/annual VAT returns and other statutory reports (NSSI BNB etc.)
NEEDED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
University degree Finance/Accounting/ Economics or similar.
Familiar with IFRS and local GAAP.
Familiar with Bulgarian tax legislation, especially VAT, CIT and withholding taxation.
Experience with ERP Microsoft AX, Microsoft office.
Experience in IT industry is a benefit.
Experience in an international environment is a benefit.
Experience working with ERP Microsoft AX, Microsoft office and accounting software.
Good English, German language is an additional benefit.
Good communication skills.
Self-driven attitude with ability to act independently within the internal control framework and statutory regulations.
Excellent teamwork skills.
