THE POSITION
In this position, you will perform important accounting tasks independently and in coordination with the team. You will report to the Regional Finance Manager.



YOUR IMPACTWorking in an international environment, in particular working closely with our parent company in the Netherlands. As a team of 4 employees, we handle all accounting tasks (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and general ledger accounts) for our two German companies in Hamburg. Supporting the billing of employees and their costs to our sister companies within the group. Collaborating with the Shared Service Centre in Rotterdam, which posts outgoing invoices for us and carries out intercompany payment runs and reconciliations. Processing national and international payment transactions. Independently preparing quarterly and annual financial statements. Acting as the contact person for project controllers' accounting questions Preparing VAT returns
ABOUT YOUSuccessfully completed a bachelor degree in finance or a commercial training as an accountant Very careful, reliable and conscientious approach to work, initiative and ability to manage yourself Communication and social skills, ability to work in a team Confident use of MS Office and very good Excel skills Fluency in written and spoken English Must have at least B1 level in German Must have a valid work permit for Germany
