Job Description

Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships via the phone and email Initiating sales processes by scheduling appointments, making initial presentations, and understanding account requirements Understanding and adequately conveying the value added services that Smith has to offer Negotiating price with customers and keeping up with market trends Interfacing with Smith’s Purchasing team Functioning as the point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers Guaranteeing timely and successful delivery of Smith’s solutions according to customer needs and objectives

Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of account representatives Effective and open communication skills Effective negotiating skills Team player Service and results oriented Persistent Commitment to customer satisfaction Ability to maintain customer confidentiality and manage proprietary data Ability to overcome customer objections

Experience



Knowledge of and experience with selling strategies is preferred

Education



Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Software Requirements



Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
