Develop/perform in vitro and in planta assays to assess the fate of small molecules in plants
Support innovation by improving throughput and sensitivity of available in planta assays for bioavailability
Work in close collaboration with modeler to support the development of prediction models
Participate to the discovery and evaluation of new active ingredients for weed control by providing new inside on plant bioavailability
Be a fully integrated member in multidisciplinary project teams with colleagues from Chemistry, Biology, Analytics, Computational Life Sciences and others
Assure appropriate management of intellectual property as well as internal and external documentation of results and progress
Ensure high safety standards and company compliant action, taking into account laws, regulations and directives including assessment and evaluation of potential risks of all processes
WHO YOU ARE
Scientific education in biochemistry or analytical chemistry (PhD, Master or comparable education)
Excellent knowledge of analytical methods (UPLC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS) and in methods to quantify and track small molecules in plant tissue and cells
Knowledge in plant physiology is of advantage
Willingness and ability to understand and adapt to the scien- tific challenges important for the success in agrochemical research
Good communication and interpersonal skills; intercultural knowledge and understanding; ability to work in culturally and technologically diverse teams
Very good German and English language skills (spoken and written)
