To strengthen our growing company, we are looking for a dedicated

Scientist CAR-T cell engineering (m/w/d)
  • Designing and cloning chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) with novel signalling domains and testing their properties in primary human T cells.
  • Developing, establishing, and implementing new methodologies to test for CAR-T cell functionality. Generating bridging preclinical data in line with the clinical development plan for the assigned programs.
  • Organizing and supervising research associate experimental work and documentation, including organizing and prioritizing laboratory work and review of generated experimental results.
  • Planning, executing, and documenting the experiments. Analysing, interpreting, preparing, and presenting results within the research team. Regular reporting to the management.
  • Participating in drafting patent application documents and scientific publications.
  • Work efficiently with other functions to ensure alignment cross-functionally. Collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Completed doctorate in the field of immunology, immuno-oncology, biomedicine, molecular medicine, or comparable qualification.
  • 2 years of experience in T-cell engineering for cancer immunotherapies, Pharma or Biotech industry experience is a plus.
  • Expertise in characterization, culture, expansion, and manipulation of T cells.
  • Experience with immunoassays for CAR-T cell product characterization including tumor-cell-killing, cytokine detection, proliferation assays and multicolour flow cytometry for immunophenotyping.
  • Direct experience in using viral and/or non-viral genome engineering tools for engineering of eukarytotic cells.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, strong organizational and record keeping skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
  • Motivation and interest in making a difference to improve patient\'s life.
