SAW R&D Internship Topic:
Next generation cellular networks (5G) rely on novel RF filter SAW technology developments at a high pace and within a highly competitive environment. Aside from other performance metrics, an efficient filter design environment is becoming more critical to avoid delays in rolling out new products. This requires accurate modelling and visualization tools.
Responsibilities may include:
Familiarization: Gain comprehensive knowledge of the existing modelling techniques and tools utilized by the team. This foundational understanding is essential for your effective contribution to the project.
Visualization Development: Innovate and develop new visualization routines to enhance data clarity and support better interpretation and decision-making processes.
Modelling Enhancement: Contribute to the improvement of modelling capabilities to ensure high accuracy and efficiency, which are critical for next-generation cellular networks
Qualifications:
Pursuing MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
Completed some course work in RF/Microwave circuit design
Experience with electromagnetic/RF simulation tools (HFSS, ADS, AWR etc.)
Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
Familiar with RF measurement and its equipment: spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
Experience with filter design, impedance matching, or RF packaging is desired
Minimum GPA of 3.0
