Job Overview:

We are seeking a SAP Consultant (Finance) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves analyzing and optimizing business processes, particularly in a fast-paced, sports-oriented environment. As a key player in our team, you will document and define target processes, manage stakeholders across various departments, and lead project planning initiatives that drive our financial operations to new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process Analysis & Optimization:

Be a key player in our consulting team for our SAP S/4 HANA transformation Analyze and optimize current financial processes and identify areas for improvement within our omnichannel sports retail environment. Collaborate with business units to design and implement optimized financial processes that align with our company’s goals. Ensure that all process improvements enhance efficiency in our eCommerce, teamsport sales unit and physical store operations.

- Documentation:

Document existing financial processes in detail, and clearly define future-state processes. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation that is easily accessible to stakeholders across the organization. Regularly update process documentation to reflect any changes or improvements.

- Stakeholder Management:

Work closely with key stakeholders across different teams and departments, especially with our implementation partner Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights, define requirements, and ensure alignment with business goals. Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication throughout project lifecycles.

- Project Planning & Execution:

Lead SAP Finance projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines and milestones. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new financial processes within S/4 HANA.

Requirements:

- Experience:

At least 3 years of experience as an IT Consultant, in best case with focus on finance processes Demonstrated success in managing and delivering IT projects, ideally within the retail or eCommerce sectors.

- Skills:

Strong analytical skills with at least a basic understanding of financial processes. Exceptional documentation abilities, with a focus on clarity and detail. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Proven experience in project planning and execution, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.

- Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field or education. An SAP Certification in Finance (FI/CO) would be advantageous, but is not a mandatory requirement.
