RF Design Engineering Internships
are offered in our Advanced Cellular business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Responsibilities may include:
Designing of State-of-the-art BAW/SAW Acoustic Filter components used in wireless RF Applications
Contributing to Laminate integration of Filter Components into RFFE Modules
Running circuit and electromagnetic (EM) Simulations using a combination of commercial and internally developed tools
Understanding and meeting Product Specification requirements considering RF Performance, costs and schedule
Working alongside Characterization Team to evaluate and diagnostic RF Components
Contributing to the Continuous Improvement of Design flow, Methods, Processes
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing an MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering with focus on RF & Microwaves
Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience
Software Exposure: ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link
Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong collaboration skills and self-starter with good communication skills
Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling
Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information
Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products
Ability to enjoy working in fast paced work environment
