Part time contract: 20hrs per week



Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Working Student for Returnable Packaging Fleet Management in the Packaging Engineering department. You will work closely with the Returnable Fleet Managers to steer the returnable packaging solutions and ensure overall physical and system vise readiness of returnable packaging. Additionally, you will coordinate the initial shipments and fleet integration of returnable packaging during the launch and ramp-up of Gigafactory Berlin. This is a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with all facets of Tesla from technology and design through component delivery and final manufacturing. The successful candidate must have the ability to work quickly and efficiently with a high level of precision, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be detail oriented, and not afraid to re-define tradition.

What You'll Do

Manage fast-paced cross-functional projects from end-to-end, covering a range of programs and subsystems Partake in the analysis of packaging development on a business case basis and integration of returnable packaging system vise Support the packaging RFQ and PO phase and thereby identify and resolve gabs in available resources to complete projects Develop and manage project plans and ensure on-time delivery Work with part suppliers and packaging suppliers to get your returnable packaging implemented Assist in vendor selection and vendor management, which includes learning how to maintain day-to-day supplier relationships

What You'll Bring

C1 level in English is essential due to the nature of the role Currently pursuing a degree in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, Logistics or Quality Engineering Proficient in project management and communication Capable of working in a fast-paced and always changing environment Proactive work mentality Having experience with the design, development, and implementation of packaging projects and logistics is a plus A strong team player
