Your tasks

Proactive support of the Store Manager and acting as their direct representative in their absence Active involvement in all day-to-day store operations and organizational tasks Co-responsibility for staff scheduling, planning and controlling store processes, as well as preparing reports and evaluations Dedicated sales of TASCHEN publications, including Collector's Editions and art prints with a strong focus on creating outstanding buying experiences Building, maintaining, and expanding our customer base and actively acquiring new clients Providing excellent, service-oriented customer care with a passion for art, culture, and high-quality books Supporting the Store Manager in leading and motivating the team Organizing and coordinating in-store events such as book signings, product presentations, and author talks Overseeing stock levels, placing orders, conducting regular inventories, and ensuring optimal product availability Ensuring the store maintains a clean, well-presented, and welcoming appearance at all times

Your profile

Experience in a similar position, ideally in premium retail; experience in art, culture, or design-related fields is a plus Passion for selling, excellent communication skills and a natural ability to engage with customers Entrepreneurial spirit, a hands-on mentality and a high level of responsibility Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with an independent, structured working style Very good spoken and written English skills and other languages are a plus Positive attitude, strong team spirit, and a smart, confident appearance High degree of flexibility, reliability, and motivation Genuine enthusiasm for art, photography, design, and TASCHEN's publishing program Solid MS Office skills
