Research Specialist* Formulation Analytic & Assay Development

As a Research Specialist* Formulation Analytic & Assay Development, you will support preclinical and early clinical development projects. Your main responsibilities are:
  • Development, optimation and performance of GMP compliant RNA Integrity Assays (CE) and extended Integrity Methods (MST, PCR) as well as GMP compliant Endotoxin Testing Assays for different lipid-based nanopharmaceuticals (for example LAL, rFC)
  • Routinely performance of GMP compliant protocols (RNA Extraction, Integrity, Endotoxin Testing) for different products as well as stability and comparability studies
  • Development and implementation of new GMP compliant assays for specific relevant target analytics, with the possibility towards automation as well as responsibility for the analytical equipment used for your assays
  • Cooperation with other members in the group, and interaction in internal and external projects

What you have to offer.

  • Degree in chemistry, pharmaceutics, biology, biochemistry, physics or similar with a strong focus on RNA or lipid-based nanoparticals, and analytical methods as well as relevant professional experience
  • Technical knowledge of method development, troubleshooting and automated systems
  • Ideally knowledge about analytical requirements for the development of pharmaceutical products and GMP-experience. Background in pharmaceutical industry working process is a plus
  • Team-oriented, careful and independent way of working and a high sense of responsibility as well as strong problem solving skills
  • Very good German or English skills (spoken and written)
