Your tasks
Design and responsible implementation of the research project: "Control of the innovative propulsion system: Vortifer"
Relevant research questions on the topic of intelligent control for underactuated mechanical systems
Building a 6DOF flight mechanics system simulation including validation, verification and robustification of the overall system considering all relevant nonlinearities
Designing a proper servo mechanism to perturbe COG and sizing effects and performing sensitivity analysis
Writing of scientific publications and participation in national and international conferences
A doctoral project is welcomed and supported
Your profile
Master's degree in electrical engineering/aerospace engineering/ mechanical engineering/informatic or comparable field
Proved background, depending on the specific research area above, preferably in the research field of control theory simulation and reinforcement learning
Solid experiences with simulation tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink)
Very good knowledge of German or English (C1), both written and spoken
Strong communication and teamwork skills, high level of initiative/responsibility and good organizational skills
