research in the field of data-driven ship design develop and apply generative deep learning methods for ship hull design develop image-based surrogate models for hydrodynamic evaluation implement coupled optimization of ship hulls subject to constraints collaborate and communicate with project partners present your research at scientific conferences and publish them in peer-reviewed journals

THIS MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT:

completed university degree (diploma, master's degree or comparable degree) in naval architecture, mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science or a comparable field with at least good results knowledge in the field of data science and deep learning experience with Python and deep learning frameworks knowledge in naval architecture and hydrodynamics is desirable knowledge in the field of computational modeling is desirable experience in project management is desirable very good command of German and English, both written and spoken excellent time management, communication skills, and the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
