What do you contribute?
  • As a rail vehicle architect (f/m/d), you will develop new vehicle concepts and vehicle platforms with a focus on standardised, manufacturing and life cycle cost-optimised vehicle architectures.
  • You drive the technical and functional maintenance and further develop existing vehicle platforms in coordination with the platform management.
  • You ensure the use of the platform solution portfolio within the scope of bid preparation and project management of adaptation projects.
  • You will support the Technical Bid Manager and the Technical Manager in bids, projects and in the processing of R&D projects.
  • You will find your contacts internally at the various levels of engineering as well as in platform management, sales, purchasing, manufacturing and commissioning.
  • You will be in dialogue with the customer to compare their requirements with our standardised solutions.
What do you bring along?
  • You have completed a master\'s degree in rail vehicle technology, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
  • You have many years of professional experience in rail vehicle construction and engineering.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the interaction of the individual trades in the vehicle as an entity and know the operational requirements of rail vehicles.
  • You are experienced in coordinating with international, cross-site teams and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You have acquired project management skills and are used to working in a field with distributed responsibilities.
  • Business fluent German and English skills are a matter of course for you.
