Quality Stream Leader – Upstream

About the Role

As Quality Stream Leader, you will be responsible for safeguarding the quality and reliability of products throughout the upstream and downstream processes. In close collaboration with stream leaders, you will manage daily operations related to raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods. You will ensure all products meet defined specifications and align with internal standards, external regulations, and certifications.

You will contribute to strategic quality improvements, represent quality in cross-functional teams, and help shape a culture committed to excellence. This position reports functionally to the Upstream/Downstream Leader and directly to the QA Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze daily product stream quality Ensure optimal FTQ (First Time Quality) performance Manage PDCA cycles related to complaints, GMP, and audits Represent quality as an ambassador within the stream Oversee product quality parameters and performance reporting Conduct training and coaching on HACCP, FTQ, and specifications Support and implement Continuous Improvement (CI) projects

Upstream/Downstream Leaders Process and CI Engineers Shift Leaders Maintenance Stream Leaders Master Liquor Pressing Team Local and Regional QA External cleaning service providers

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Food Science, or equivalent vocational training with a focus on Quality Management Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance within a HACCP-regulated FMCG environment Experience supporting customer audits Proficiency in SAP and project management Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 8D) Excellent communication skills in German & English
