We are looking for a Public Affairs Officer to join our team in the Public Relations department in full-time as soon as possible:
Responsible for Public Affairs Strategies and Social Media Outreach:
Preparation of briefings, meetings and content for the Head of Public Affairs Department
Responsible for Holocaust Remembrance and official events
Coordinating Youth Exchange and Twin-Cities projects
Community networking with Jewish communities and other relevant groups/organizations
Assisting in speech writing for the Head of the Public Affairs Department and the Ambassador
Creation of information materials, texts, graphics and briefings on various topics
Support in the organization of events and projects
Basic requirements:
Bachelor's degree, MA degree is an advantage
Good interpersonal relationship and teamwork skills
Very Good
oral and written communication skills in German and English (Hebrew is an advantage)
Quick learning curve and the ability to implement it in an operational manner
Further experience and knowledge:
familiar with public relations and PR (project and event management, social media)
knowledge of Israel and Israel-related associations and organisations in Germany as well as the Jewish communities in Germany will be considered as an advantage
Also important to know:
For legal reasons, applicants with Israeli citizenship cannot be considered for this position.
This is an on-site position in Berlin ( hybrid work is not an option )
