Job Description

Project Management

Develop and manage all aspects of projects and engagements, including planning, vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues. Oversee day-to-day project activities and resources. Chair project management team meetings and ensure adequate resources are procured to achieve objectives within planned timeframes. Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables. Provide regular status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating effectively across leadership.

Business and Senior Stakeholder Engagement

Engage with external stakeholders and internal business sponsors/focal points across the organization globally. Provide updates and demonstrate functional acumen to show how solutions support project goals while aligning with industry best practices. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including project teams, sponsors, and key stakeholders. Deliver appropriate and effective executive-level communication.

Team Management and Performance

Set and manage project/program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members, vendors, and stakeholders. Coach, mentor, motivate, and oversee the project team. Monitor the performance of project staff to ensure high standards and efficiency.

Quality Control and Assurance

Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution. Report on project success criteria, results, metrics, testing, and deployment management activities

Qualifications

Education & Certification



First-level university degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Professional qualification or foundational certification in project management methodologies: such as PMI, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum.


Working knowledge of English: C1 or higher level.

The candidate must have:



At least five (5) years of recent professional experience in program/project planning, management, and successful delivery of complex cross-functional or interdependent projects, some at the global or international level. Experience collaborating with teams (physically or virtually) in an international and multi-cultural environment whilst producing results. Proven experience in writing project plans and project-related documentation. Experience in facilitating workshops, presentations to senior stakeholders, and managing change in a federated (decentralized) organization. MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) MS SharePoint, MS Visio, MS Project

The candidate could have:



Extensive experience working across multiple time zones without the need for face-to-face meetings. Experience with UN or other international or multinational organizations. Experience with professional business services such as consulting. Additional experience in facilitating workshops, presentations to senior stakeholders, and managing change in a federated (decentralized) organization.
