With specialized R&D and manufacturing expertise, we develop and produce components for ASML: Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) and Deep Ultraviolet (DUV) systems, including wafer tables, reticle chucks, and mirror blocks. Our craftsmanship in precision manufacturing, combined with our expertise in optical production technology, makes us the global center of excellence for optics and wafer chuck technology within ASML.

Your tasks

--------------

As a Project Manager at ASML Berlin, you shape the transition from technological innovation to high-tech manufacturing. You lead cross-functional projects and orchestrate local and international collaboration throughout the entire product development process. Specifically:

You represent manufacturing interests throughout the NPI (New Product Introduction) process and ensure production readiness of new products. You structure and plan industrialization, cost engineering, and ramp-up projects according to the Product Generation Process (PGP). You manage resources, budgets, and timelines using methods such as Gantt charts, Critical Path, and Earned Value. You conduct risk analyses (FMEA, SWOT) and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks. You lead complex, cross-site projects within a matrix organization – with a focus on time-to-market, quality, and cost. You collaborate closely with stakeholders from Manufacturing Engineering, Development & Engineering (D&E), and Technology. You lead and develop interdisciplinary project teams from manufacturing, engineering, and technology. You document project progress and present regularly in steering committees and management meetings. You work independently with internal and external stakeholders in Berlin, Veldhoven, and other ASML locations – in compliance with global standards and governance structures.

Your qualifications

-----------------------

You hold a degree in engineering or natural sciences – or a comparable technical qualification. You bring solid project management knowledge, ideally through the PM Foundation Program or equivalent training. You have several years of experience leading technical projects, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing-related environment. You are proficient in project management methods such as Gantt, Critical Path, and Earned Value. You are experienced in using risk analysis tools like FMEA and SWOT.
You are familiar with structuring and managing projects along the Product Generation Process (PGP).
You speak and write German and English fluently for working in international project teams.

Your skills

---------------

You communicate complex topics clearly and convincingly. You communicate with clarity, empathy, and purpose – even in international teams. You think ahead and identify relevant connections and risks early on. You find pragmatic solutions – even under time pressure and high complexity. You remain calm and capable of action, even when conditions change unexpectedly. You work in a structured and organized manner – and maintain oversight in dynamic situations. You present yourself confidently, foster team spirit, and actively shape collaboration.
